My first visit
We are so excited to meet you for your first visit at Mesquite Dental!
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by our knowledgeable and fun administrative team who will get to know you a little bit, review your planned appointment and seat you in our comfortable, newly decorated waiting area. We will offer water or coffee while you wait. Once ready, our clinical team will get you settled into your private room and set you up with personal entertainment on our ceiling mounted televisions. We also offer a variety of comforting accommodations like blankets, pillows, headphones to help you relax. Now for the best part! Our kind and caring dentists and dental hygienists will talk with you about your oral health and smile goals. We know everyone's path to oral health is unique, so our team will take the time to get to know you, and your comfort levels. We understand many people experience anxiety at the dental office, or have had negative experiences in the past, we are always accommodating and understanding.
Taking the time to learn and listen to all of your concerns and expectations will allow our team to personalize our recommendations to your specific needs. One of our skilled dentists will perform a thorough examination that includes any necessary X-rays, an oral cancer screening, and an opportunity to address any cosmetic concerns. After your time with the doctor, many of our first-time patients will also see a hygienist for a meticulous cleaning. Our proficient hygienists will gently clean your teeth and take the time to educate you about the best ways to continue your oral health journey at home. If you have any additional treatment needs, we can often accommodate same day treatment with one of our dentists, or we can work with our administrative team to find the ideal time to bring you back.
